Alstroemeria wins

And for once the alstroemeria actually outlasted everything but the hydrangea.

This bouquet was big enough to need splitting into two vases, which is always gratifying for grocery flowers.

Chrysanthemums last longer than anything, though.

This bouquet, the roses actually lived long enough to bloom! Most of the time, the poor things are too refrigerated.

Februaries call for bright colors; always good to know the grocery flower shop agrees.

Nothing improves roses like a cat to go with them.

The cats seem to like the flowers, too, either as props or as toys.

More of the daisies bloomed, so the January bouquet needed some adjustment. Plus, there were chocolates to complement!
